He is a historian and documentary maker. He has published the books Notes sur l’emigration-Espagne 1960. Apunts per a una pel•licula invisible and Filmar el exilio desde Francia, in addition to collaborating on various co-authored books. He has worked as a programmer for the Amalgama emerging and experimental film sessions and at various festivals and institutions. He worked in the Programming Department of the Spanish Film Archive (Filmoteca Española), writes for Caimán. Cuadernos de cine, and coordinates the daily RTVE show Historia de nuestro cine. He made the short films The Absurd, My Ideology: Variations on a Concept, Aidez l’Espagne and The Corpse of Time.
