In Heliconia, three teenagers (a girl and two boys) hit the road to spend the summer together. Nothing but free time and open land. In contact with the sensuality of the landscape, each one explores their own sensuality, and the ways they come into contact with others. Shot on Super 8mm, the film also explores the changes in colors and shapes when bodies come into touch with water, fruits, songs and speed. Their freedom is such that even the narrative melts before them, fading into the tropics. (LS)
