An experimental and dreamlike work that explores the links between cryptoculture and cryogenics as two speculative technologies that view the future as an economic resource to be exploited. Gala Hernández López crafts together a sharp, speculative essay with sci-fi overtones by making a collage out of YouTube videos, archival images and 3D animations, all skillfully threaded together with a voice-over that makes an appeal to us in an optimistic, techno melancholy tone that becomes terrifying for an unpredictable future.
